Create an embed.

Set up the chat widget: its name, which assistant answers, and how it looks.

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Start a new embed

    In the studio, go to Embeds and click New embed. A short four-step setup opens.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    Name it and pick the assistant

    Under Identity, give it a name and an optional first message. Under Agent, choose which assistant answers your visitors. Assistants on an embed can't use connected apps, so pick one that works without them.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Make it look like your site

    Under Look, set the colour, the corner the launcher sits in, and your logo.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Set a fair-use limit

    Under Plan & code, choose how many messages each visitor can send per 24 hours, or 0 for no limit. Creating an embed doesn't start a subscription.
